We aim to keep our wait times as short as possible and will update this page periodically. Current wait times to be seen are approximately 6-8 weeks. Please see the section on wait times for more information.
-
This practice is primarily virtual. In-person appointments are conducted at North Toronto Surgical, located at 1275 Finch Avenue West, Suite 605, Toronto, Ontario.

Dr. Dupuis is licensed to practise medicine in Ontario. Patients must be physically located in Ontario at the time of their appointment. If you are an Ontario resident temporarily outside the province, please call our office at 416-742-2961 ext. 3 to discuss your options.
-
This practice bills OHIP and IFHP directly — there is no cost to you for any of our services so long as you are insured. If you do not have insurance, please contact us to discuss options.
Private pay clinics and practitioners do excellent work, and in a system where wait times are long, they play an important role. If the wait feels untenable, a private pay provider may be the right fit for you.
-
Most appointments are conducted virtually. This allows us to see you sooner — wait times for virtual appointments are significantly shorter than for in-person visits.
In-person appointments are available for procedures that require them, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and contraceptive device insertions.
If you prefer an in person visit for consultation, please note the wait will be longer.

Some situations warrant faster triage. When asking your provider to refer you, let them know if any of the following apply — and ask them to indicate urgency in the referral:
If you are under the age of 40, not on any hormones, and it has been more than 4 months since you have had a period
You are under 40 and have been told your ovaries are failing or have stopped functioning (premature ovarian insufficiency)
You have had your ovaries surgically removed and are experiencing acute symptoms
You have recently had a bone density scan showing significant bone loss
Your bloodwork shows significantly elevated cardiovascular risk markers
Your symptoms are severe enough that you are unable to work, sleep, or function day-to-day
-
If you have been prescribed HRT by another provider, follow-up and ongoing management should remain with them.
Our priority is getting patients who have not yet been assessed or treated seen as quickly as possible.
If your provider would like specialized input or guidance on your case, Dr. Dupuis is happy to liaise directly with them — please ask your provider to indicate this on the referral.
-
For in-person procedures — including Pap smears and contraceptive device insertions and removals — she works with a small team of excellent colleagues who share her commitment to women's health.
In the spirit of training the next generation of women's health providers, Dr. Dupuis may occasionally have a learner present during appointments. You will always be asked in advance and your answer will never affect your care.
